I got a voicemail saying my internet was being used for illegal stuff. Total scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to work for some telephone preference blocking scheme, checking if I was getting lots of nuisance calls. Then they suddenly asked if I was still using the same bank card. I was like, "Why do you need to know about my bank card?" They said it was just to verify who I am. Sounded dodgy as hell, so I just ended the call.

Received an unexpected phone call today. I could hear a commotion from what sounded like a call centre in the background. When I mentioned that their voice was too faint to make out, they abruptly ended the call. Very odd experience!
