Today, I answered a call from this number since it appeared to be from my tiny village. The person on the line claimed my £79 subscription for Amazon Prime had just been renewed. Coincidentally, I had actually cancelled my Prime membership, which was set to renew today. After double-checking, I can confirm my subscription is definitely not active. This has to be a scam, and pretending to be a local number makes it all the worse.
