What really grinds my gears is they keep ringing my elderly dad’s phone even though he’s on the TPS list. Proper nuisance. I've ended up blocking the number and reported them straight to TPS.

Got a call from a bloke named Edwin on 01348811990 about my boiler, saying I could save £6 on my insurance compared to my current deal. I told him I wasn't interested and didn’t recognise the company he mentioned. He then got quite rude, asking why I wasn’t interested. I calmly said I don’t deal with cold calls and asked him not to ring again, but he kept on in what felt like a pushy way. In the end, I just hung up. Sounded like he wasn’t from around here.

Got a call from a young woman who asked if my boiler was working and then tried to push an upgrade, saying something about updating boilers all across the UK. I told her there’s no way she could upgrade my boiler over the phone and that seemed to throw her off because she ended up hanging up. Reading other comments, it sounds like maybe she meant upgrading the boiler cover, which would explain why she checked if the boiler was running first. No idea if it was a scam, but it for sure felt like a cold call from sales.

Got a call from some bloke abroad trying to flog something about my gas boiler. They kept ringing me up, so I told them straight to stop or I'd report them for harassment. No sooner had I put the phone down, the same person rang again and was properly aggressive. I said what he was doing was cold calling and that it's against the law, so I'd be reporting him. After that, he just hung up. Absolutely daft!

Got a call from this number around 1:20 this afternoon, but the line was awful - really cheap and crackly - and it just dropped before anyone could say a word. Hoping they try again soon and the call actually goes through next time.
