Received a call claiming to be from Amazon, stating that an iPhone had been bought using my account. They insisted that if I didn’t approve this purchase, I needed to speak with their manager in order to cancel the transaction.

Got a call pretending to be from Amazon Prime. The message went like, “hello, this is from your prime account team, your amazon prime has been hacked. There’s a purchase of a refurbished iPhone 6 costing 350 quid, and your visa card linked to amazon has been billed. If you want to cancel that order, press 1 to speak with the amazon fraud team, else your account might get frozen.” Sounded quite dodgy to me!

Got a dodgy phone call claiming to be Amazon, telling me my Amazon Prime was at risk and that some order had been made without my okay. They kept saying press 1 to cancel it, but the call was rubbish quality and no one gave their name. Funny thing is, I don't even have Amazon Prime!
