Got a call claiming there was strange activity on my bank account - pretty sure it was a scam trying to catch me out. The number came from Easingwold, if that helps anyone.

I got a call from someone saying they were from the Telephone Refund Department, and it was a South Asian woman on the line. When I asked what company they were with, she said BT. I told her I don’t even have BT as my phone provider, so it’s obviously a scam. After that, she just ended the call on me 🙄.
