I received a rather dodgy recorded message purporting to be from BT, warning me that my internet connection was on the verge of being terminated. The irony is, I'm not even a BT customer! Clearly a scam attempt, if I've ever seen one. I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service to avoid nuisance calls, yet this marks the seventh time I've been targeted since the 5th of September 2019, all from various numbers. It's utterly frustrating!

Got another scam call today, the 7th since the 5th of Sept, all from different numbers. The caller pretended to be from BT saying our internet would get cut off. Problem is, we don’t use BT. I hit 1 to speak to someone, and this bloke with an Asian accent picked up. I told him exactly what I thought of the call, then he just ended the call. Pretty typical scammer behaviour really.
