This number has called me a couple of times now. Every time I pick up, there’s just silence and then some recorded message that says goodbye. Tried calling back but the number doesn’t come up as valid. Bit strange if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT internet headquarters, saying they were going to cut off my internet for two weeks. When I asked the reason, they said my computer was being hacked. Then they tried to walk me through giving them remote access to my PC using remote desktop. I ended the call and phoned BT myself, who told me they’d never contact me like that and it was definitely a scam.
