On 20th June 2020 at about 10:15 in the morning, we received a call from 01345300390. They offered some options to press, which we ignored, and then an automated voice came on saying something about a food safety breach and that a warrant had been issued against us, threatening arrest. They repeated the options to press to avoid this, but we still didn’t pick anything and the call eventually dropped. I find these calls absolutely terrible and cruel, especially when older folks have to deal with this nonsense. It’s sickening behaviour all round.

Got a robocall saying I’ve committed tax fraud with HMRC and there’s a warrant for my arrest. They said if I want to speak with the officer handling it, I had to call back some number. Total scam, don’t fall for it! Number they gave was 01345300390.

I got one of those dodgy calls with an automated voice telling me I’d been flagged for fraud against HMRC and that there was an arrest warrant out for me. They gave me a case number and kept telling me to keep pressing 1 to talk to an officer. Total scam alert! Don’t even think about pressing any buttons - just hang up straight away!

At about 12:25 pm on 17/6/20 I got a call from 01345300390 with an automated voice claiming I was wanted by HMRC for some fraud and there was a warrant for my arrest. It told me to press 1 to talk to my case officer. Please don’t press anything! Even tho it sounds intimidating, this is a total scam. HMRC would never handle things like this on the phone. Stay safe!

Got an answerphone message from some dodgy automated voice, sounded really low quality. Like others mentioned, it claimed to be from HMRC and said there’s a warrant out for “your name” - seriously, whose name exactly? Then it told me to press 1 to talk to my “case officer”. In the past couple of days, I got two calls from this number. I didn’t pick up and let it go to voicemail. A woman said something about an outstanding warrant for my arrest because I supposedly owe some money, and she told me to ring back on that same number. I just ended up deleting the message straight away.

The call came up as an "international number", so we just allowed it to go through to the answering machine. The message was some woman's voice saying we were supposedly listed for prosecution and to press '1' for more info. We didn’t press anything. After looking into the 01345 prefix later, it turns out it’s not assigned to any place in the UK and is likely a spoof. We're convinced this is a clear spam call.

Lately, i've been getting loads more scam calls, so this one was a dead giveaway straight away. No way HM Revenue and Customs would get in touch like that. They do it to catch out the less suspicious folks. Never share your personal details over the phone. Also, watch out for when they tell you to ring a real number to confirm their identity - that's just a trick. They'll make you think you hung up and called the legit number, but they're still connected and block your call, pretending to be the real people on the other end.

I hadn’t a clue who it was since the call just dropped right away. Funny enough, my BT call-blocker was already set up to block that number because I’ve had some dodgy calls from them before. Actually, the only thing that tipped me off was a quick ring on my old analogue phone. When I looked at the call-blocker phone, it showed the call was blocked and not picked up.
