I've been plagued by incessant calls from the number starting with 01345. It seems to be nothing but a nuisance, with every ring bringing some sort of dodgy pitch to invest in or offload shares in various companies. Quite tiresome, really!

Got calls from 01345 138744 every morning, twice a day for weeks now. They leave a recorded message about some weird activity on my account and threatening to cut it off in 24 hours. I don’t pick up but it’s getting really annoying.

Got a call on my mobile from 01345 020960, said they were from APACS and wanted to chat about a car accident I was supposedly in. I ended the call straight away since I’ve not been in any accident.

01345 294278 rang me at 12.32, with a recorded message saying it's from my Internet Provider warning about suspicious activity on my account and that it would be cut off within 24 hours. This is the fourth time today I've had the same message. The other calls were from: 08976124280 at 8.07, 05504770255 at 8.27, and 06445162427 at 11.11.

I've received no fewer than four calls over the past few days from someone purporting to be from Microsoft. The person has an Asian accent. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

didnt answer but looked up the number 01345 and turns out its a scammer. ended up getting a call blocker off amazon and its honestly the best purchase we've made, especially with all the spam calls we keep getting. glad to say its blocked now, what a relief!

I got a call from 01345300390, an automated message with a woman’s voice claiming to be from HMRC. She said I was facing legal action over deliberate tax evasion. I just ended the call straight away.

That was hmrc calling me saying they have a warrant for me or something. I was pretty sure it was a scam but I ended up chatting with them for a solid 26 mins just to kill time and hopefully stop them from hassling anyone more vulnerable than me.

Got a robotic call earlier from 01345 659956 claiming to be from BT. They said there was some weird stuff happening with my IP and they needed to check it out. To chat with their "technical director" you had to press an extension or else they'd cut off your phone and internet. Honestly, with everything going on like coronavirus, these scam calls just make things worse. Absolutely disgusting! 🤢

Yesterday lunchtime, an older family member answered a call from a number starting with 01354. When she picked up, the answerphone message was still playing, so she missed the very start of the caller's words. But right at the end, the woman on the line shouted 'DIE' in a really hostile and scary way. We don’t know anyone from that 01354 area, but I’m worried calls like this could seriously upset anyone, especially those who are more vulnerable. Because of that, I’m planning to report it. It might’ve been a random nuisance, but to me, this call felt quite threatening.

Got a call from 01345951505 with an automated message claiming to be from my internet provider, saying they spotted some illegal activity on my connection. They warned my internet would be cut off in 24 to 48 hours unless I spoke to their “technical support” by pressing 1. This was obviously a scam. I’ve got rural broadband through a local company via a radio link and they’d never do anything like this. Just hang up if you get this call. The only issue is BT’s call block service doesn’t seem to flag this number.
