7 yearsgot a call that was obviously a scam, said i’d had a crash but now i had amnesia and couldn’t recall much except that it happened roughly half a year back. chatted rubbish to keep them interested for a while, then the scammer asked how i was so certain it was 6 months ago. i just asked back "how do you know i even had an accident?" and then they just hung up!7 yearsi told them straight away i dont own a car and asked when this thing was meant to have taken place. kept saying it couldnt have been me since ive not got a car. when they pressed more i said ive barely left the house for months, so it really cant be me. i tried to stay polite and keep the chat going, hoping to clear it up. after a while they dropped the whole car crash story and started asking if there were any other claims, like injuries at home or something. i sounded quite shocked and said - wait, so this is actually just a cold call then? they just hung up after that.7 yearsi usually say yes and that i was in a crash that really wasn't my fault. i tell them there was this crazy bend in the road i never saw coming, so sharp it basically chopped my head off. then i say i'm looking to claim for some serious surgery to get my head stuck onto a brand new, fit body since the old one was getting a bit saggy. weirdly, they always hang up on me after that.7 yearsGot a call from some company saying I'd been involved in a car accident.
