They’ve set up a website claiming to be a 'debt charity' associated with StepChange, which is downright misleading and a clear case of fraud. Their tactic seems to be to nudge you towards an IVA-a service from which they profit, despite it not being in your best interests at all. Received a call from someone claiming to be from NHS Test and Trace. They then went on to say they were my doctor and inquired about my vaccination status. When I questioned why my usual female doctor hadn't reached out from the surgery, the caller abruptly hung up on me. Quite bizarre!

Received a call supposedly from the NHS inquiring whether I’ve received my Covid vaccine. The caller then ramblingly mentioned something about having a computer, which seemed rather odd. I decided to put the chap on speakerphone, but before I could really engage, they abruptly ended the call. I've reported the number as suspicious.

What a nightmare! I've fallen victim to a scam! They’re conducting a credit card fraud inquiry, and an individual from India began hurling abuse at me!

I got the same advice from Citizens Advice, but given my experience in a similar field, I can assure you they wouldn’t ever place a call like that.
