Today, I received a call claiming to be from BT Openreach, saying there was an issue with my internet router connection. I mentioned to the bloke that I don’t even have a BT line (my phone line runs on digital now) and ended the call. The guy sounded to me like he had a South Asian accent. I've since put the number on my block list.
