Got a call from a number I didn't recognise.

Got a call from a firm trying to pitch a warranty for my washing machine because supposedly it's almost run out. They had the wrong name and address linked to my number, which I've had for about 15 years, and I've never been known as Butler. This is the second time they’ve called me today, and I’m flagging it as harassment. The first time I picked up, they just ended the call straight away.

It’s really worrying that they’ve got my full name, address and postcode. I told the woman on the phone I was going to pass her number over to the police, and she just hung up straight away. Seriously, they need to start cracking down on these calls, especially since they target people who are more vulnerable.
