When the lady started calling me 'darling', that’s when I suspected it was a total scam. My missus always says I’m the least 'lovely' bloke she’s come across. Best steer clear of these calls.

Got a call out of nowhere trying to push me a pre-paid funeral plan, which was a bit much, especially since I was actually heading to the hospital to begin my radioactive therapy. Felt really unsettled and started worrying if someone’s been sharing my private medical details. Needless to say, I blocked the number straight away.
