This is Dell, the reason why the number isn’t 11 digits is because they’re not based in the UK. I work in IT and we deal with Dell all the time, it’s definitely not a scam and they’re not pushy at all!

I ignored the call. For everyone claiming this is actually Dell, how’s that possible? The number isn’t even complete. In the UK, phone numbers always have 11 digits, whether landlines or mobiles. This one only shows 10 digits.

Got a strange call saying they were checking up on something I’d bought recently. When I asked what it was, they mentioned a monitor purchase from years back and said I was eligible for some sort of premium account. I didn’t let them get far enough to ask for any of my info. Since I’d just been in touch with them via email, figured it was safe to pick up. This phone is from Dell. I sent my laptop in for repairs and they completely wiped all my data without giving me a heads up. Because of that, I had to purchase a new MS Office license. This is a Dell number. I was actually waiting for a tech support call from them, so it was expected. Still, after reading what others have said, it seems like it's a general Dell number used across different departments. Personally, I wouldn’t chat with anyone calling out of the blue though. Dell do have sales people ringing to push products, and even their tech support often tries to upsell you stuff you probably don’t need just to fix your "issues".
