He insists the installation was carried out by Bracknell Council, but the truth is, my insulation was installed by a private firm that the Housing Association, from whom I rent my bungalow, arranged. Whenever I press him for the details of his company’s location, he states it’s based in Oxford. Quite frankly, this all appears to be a con, as he abruptly ends the call the moment I inquire why he's reaching out to me and not my landlord.
