I got a call from someone claiming that TalkTalk manages all broadband services and that our connection had been compromised. They told me to open my laptop and enter some command into a box called ‘Tun’. Afterwards, a window popped up showing loads of errors - over 22,000 apparently. The lady chuckled and said it was urgent we fixed it fast. I told her I wanted to double-check something first, which made her question me and push that it had to be fixed immediately. It all felt a bit off, so I decided to hold off and confirm with official TalkTalk before doing anything else. Cheers!
