Got a call from 01343855398 saying it was BT warning me my broadband was shutting off because of some weird activity. It was one of those recorded messages - probably 'cause all their staff are off or something! They told me to PRESS 1 if I wanted to ‘prove’ how gullible I am. The area code is from Elgin, Scotland, so maybe if I had pressed 1 and spoke to a supervisor, they’d have had a better haggis recipe for me this Christmas... but I suppose I’ll just keep searching online to find the perfect one. Seriously, avoid calling back that number unless you’re a big fan of haggis!
