I just had a rather dodgy phone call from a man with a foreign accent. He claimed to be from the technical team at BT Openreach. This isn’t the first time I’ve been hounded by such calls lately. I told him I didn't believe he was truly representing Openreach, given that I communicate with them directly, and without hesitation, he ended the call. Just another attempt at scamming, I reckon!

I recently had an unexpected phone call from a bloke with an accent that sounded foreign. He claimed to be from the technical support team of BT Openreach. I've received a fair few of these sorts of calls lately. When I told him I found it a bit suspect since I handle my inquiries with them directly, he hung up without a word. It's clearly yet another scam attempt.

I picked up the phone, and the person on the other end claimed to be from BT, probing me with questions about my router. When I inquired why he didn’t seem to know which router I was using, he abruptly hung up on me. I'm going to file a report with BT about this matter. I appreciate the chance to share this experience.
