2 yearsOnly heard some background sounds and then it just dropped out.2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from O2, but I’m not even a customer with them. They tried to sell me a discount on my next phone bill, so I said sure, why not, and they agreed to knock off 40%. Then they just hung up. After a bit, the same person got back in touch, saying there’d been confusion with my account and they’d paid out to the wrong one by mistake. They asked me for my bank details so they could take back the money they supposedly gave me in error. I played along and gave them a bunch of made-up bank info. We went back and forth for ages, until I asked why O2 would be refunding me anyway, seeing as I’m with a completely different provider. It was pretty funny to string them along like that!2 yearsThis bunch keeps ringing me up claiming they’re with O2, but I’m nowhere near with O2. What’s worse, even after I blocked them, they come back using about 3 or more different numbers!
