Got a message at like 5.17am saying my Lloyds account was at risk or something. Guess they figured sending it so early might trick people into calling back quick. When I told Lloyds about it, I reckon they should do more to stop this kinda scam, especially so older folks don’t fall for it.

Got a text that looked like it was from Lloyds telling me my account got frozen and to ring a certain number. Instead of calling it, I phoned Lloyds on their official customer service line. They confirmed it was a scam and said they’d investigate the matter.

Got two texts from this number earlier. One was like “Sultan Mahfouz, your Lloyds Bank account’s been hacked.” Don’t know anyone called Sultan Mahfouz and I definitely don’t hold an account with Lloyds. Then they sent another one saying “Your account access has been blocked by the bank.” Haven’t replied, felt like a scam trying to grab your info or something. Better stay clear of these dodgy messages!
