10 yearsSomeone rang me pretending to be from a wine merchant I'd supposedly dealt with before, pushing some deal about buy two cases and get two free. I told them I'd only speak to the usual rep I know, but they said he was out. So, I rang the actual company and found out they weren’t running that offer and the rep was definitely not away. The next day the same person called back, insisting I must be mistaken and said they’d check with their manager about the mix-up.
