7 yearsGot a call earlier from this number with a bloke saying he was from Sky. He reckoned they were keeping an eye on all broadband in the UK and spotted issues with my connection - odd thing is, my broadband provider is Talk Talk! Sounded pretty convincing at first. He even gave me a name and an employee number. When I got suspicious, he handed me over to someone he called his ‘manager’. They claimed someone called Mr Johnson was meddling with my broadband. Then they asked me to open some Quick Support App on my phone so they could show me the “problem” and help sort it. That was my cue to say no, and I told them to call back when my husband was around.
