6 yearsI received a phone call from this number today, purporting to represent Sky. The caller claimed they were monitoring all broadband connections across the UK and had detected an issue with mine, which is actually provided by Talk Talk! Quite convincing, I must admit. He introduced himself and even gave me an employee ID. However, when I expressed my doubts, he transferred me to his 'manager.' This person asserted that my broadband was being accessed by someone named Mr Johnson. They urged me to open the Quick Support App on my phone so they could show me the alleged problem and assist in fixing it. At that point, I firmly declined and mentioned that I’d prefer them to call back when my husband was available. Unsurprisingly, there was no further call.
