On the 11th of January, 2017, I had a phone call from a so-called Microsoft representative claiming they were acting on behalf of the company. They insisted they were situated in London and provided me with some error codes that supposedly indicated issues with my operating system. Their main goal was clearly to sell me a monthly support package, despite everything being perfectly fine with my computer. I strongly advise staying vigilant, ask plenty of questions, and ensure you hang up without giving them access to your device.

I received a call from this number earlier today, 9th March. There was nobody on the line when I picked up, so I decided to hang up. I wouldn't recommend answering!

Received a call at my residence claiming there was an issue with our Windows PC, but there isn’t one at all! Quite unsurprisingly, he had a distinctive accent.
