this person had a really strong asian accent and struggled with english. she claimed to be jessica, working in london’s it support. she told me my computer was hacked and asked me to switch it on. when i asked for a phone number to call back, she just hung up. total scam for sure.

I received a call from someone with a foreign accent, claiming it was regarding my computer. When I fibbed and said we didn’t own a computer, he stubbornly insisted otherwise, mentioning that we were registered somewhere. I made it clear that I had no intention of engaging with him further, and that if he persisted, I would disconnect the call. Naturally, he continued his spiel, and I promptly hung up. It’s quite the routine now, getting these types of calls frequently, usually from overseas numbers, no less!

I received a call from an Indian chap claiming to represent Microsoft, but it’s just the typical scam. Best to disregard such calls entirely!
