Some lady with a thick foreign accent called my elderly mum pretending to be called Anna, trying to get into her computer. When I asked for her full name and ID so I could run a security check, she just wouldn’t give any details. Then as soon as I mentioned I was recording the call, she hung up straight away. No doubt in my mind they were scammers trying to steal from my mum’s bank account. I really hope they get what they deserve for targeting innocent, vulnerable people like her. Proper criminals, no question.
