She insisted that I should power up my computer so she could assist me with an issue popping up on my Windows system. I informed her that my laptop's battery was dead, and she mentioned she'd call back in a bit. My plan? To keep her on the line for as long as I can manage, to thwart her potential scamming of someone else.
