Received a call from someone purporting to be from Windows or some sort of “error centre”, insisting that my computer was compromised and riddled with viruses. Quite amusing, really, as we don’t even own any Windows devices! Clearly, it's a complete scam.

I had a chap on the line with a heavy foreign accent purporting to be from Microsoft, insisting he could rectify some supposed issues with my computer. He introduced himself as "Stephen Fin"-sounds quite British, doesn't it? But I reckon it's as fabricated as his story about being from Microsoft!
