I received a rather dubious phone call from a woman with an Eastern accent claiming to represent Microsoft support. She informed me that there was an attempt to breach my computer, which would prevent me from receiving crucial security updates. When I requested that she provide this information in writing, I promptly hung up. Barely two minutes later, another woman with a similar accent rang me up, repeating the same alarming narrative. She offered to remain on the line while I powered up my computer so she could guide me through resolving the issue. I told her it wasn't a good time for me but promised I would return her call. She provided me with a contact number: 02081938920. However, upon checking the caller ID afterwards, it turned out the number was the same as the last one! Quite the coincidence, or so it seems!
