Got a call from some spoofed number, sounded like an Asian guy with a really English name, saying he was from BT Openreach. He claimed their ‘central database’ had spotted suspicious stuff on my router. Total scam, they just want to get into your computer. Honestly, just block them or hang up straight away.

Just a heads-up, this is a scam call. If someone rings you saying they're from a phone or computer firm, and tells you your internet or router has a problem - like it’s sending error messages or got a virus - they’re likely trying to trick you. They might say they can sort it for you but will want payment via a gift card. Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t hand over access to your computer. Paying them won’t mean you’ll get anything fixed, so better to refuse and hang up.
