I received a call from someone claiming that the warranty on my washing machine had run out, and they were keen to provide an extension. But then they requested my bank information, which seemed highly suspicious. So, I ended the conversation right there.

Got a call from someone saying my washing machine warranty expired and I should get their home insurance to cover it. When I asked how they got my phone number, the woman just said it was from their database. I told her not to have my number at all and to stop calling me. I've blocked the number since then.
