Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from BT, saying there was an issue with my broadband router. I told them I’d sort it out by contacting BT directly. The very next day, they rang back insisting the problem was still there and asked to get into my computer. I told them the PC was running a diagnostic at the moment. Then they asked if I had an Android phone to use for the fix. I know BT would never operate like this. I’ve reported it straight away!
