So this guy rings up pretending to be from my broadband company, but the moment I asked who exactly my provider was, he fumbled and started listing off BT and a bunch of other firms. Honestly, it was a bit of a laugh. I told him he’d be better off finding a proper job since he was pretty rubbish at scamming.

I got an automated voice on my answering machine saying my phone line would be cut off within 24 hours. Apparently, they claimed there were some hacking attempts linked to my number and advised me to contact BT right away. Felt a bit fishy to me.

i use talktalk and this number keeps ringing me up claiming to be from their technical team and asking me to press 1, which i really doubt is legit.
