Today my elderly mum got a call from 01339547815, which seems to be from Aboyne in Scotland. We don't have any connections up north, so my guess is it’s either someone who dialled the wrong number, a telesales company, or probably just another scammer. These days, it looks like scammers are getting clever, making it seem like their calls come from UK numbers even though they might be overseas. I’m not exactly sure how they manage it, but it’s definitely happening.
