I’ve been getting calls from this number, or ones very similar, like ten times every single day! It’s always a recorded message telling me my service will be cut off today. Proper annoying!

so this number rang me up saying they were from talk talk and that my router was apparently sending out some dodgy security alerts. they wanted me to switch on my computer so they could guide me through fixing it. i ended up hanging up straight away. funny thing is, just last week talk talk sent me an email saying there was a problem with my internet and suggesting i should book an engineer to come out.

this number called me pretending to be from talk talk, saying my internet router was apparently sending some dodgy security alerts. they wanted me to switch on my computer so they could guide me through fixing it. i wasnt so sure so i just ended the call. funny enough, last week talk talk did send me an email saying my internet had issues and offered to send an engineer if i clicked a link, so this call seemed a bit suspicious.

Over the last several months, I've been getting calls quite often from people claiming to be from TalkTalk, warning me my internet might be cut off soon. It's pretty clear to me it's a con, so I never get to the point where they can try to get any personal info. If I ask for their name and a number so I can ring TalkTalk myself to check, they just hang up immediately. Even though I call them out and let them know I’m onto their scam, the calls just keep coming.
