Beware of this individual. He posed as a representative from BT Openreach, claiming to be from my internet provider. The truth is, BT Openreach doesn't even handle my service!

some lady rang me saying she was with bt openreach and wanted to check my internet to make it faster. i got really wary and asked her for some kind of ID. she just threw out some 12 digit code and claimed it was from my router, which it definitely isnt. total scam alert. they just want to take over your pc. best thing to do is cut the call immediately.
