Got a robocall with an Asian accent claiming HMRC had started legal action over unpaid taxes. Immediately knew it was dodgy since HMRC don’t contact people like this. They didn’t even ask who they were speaking to, just blew through everyone in the house. It was clear a scam, so I ended the call and blocked it. Thing is, these fraudsters keep switching numbers, so you might get the same type of call from a different one. Stay alert!
