I just picked up my landline and got one of those recorded messages. They claimed my IP address was at risk and told me to hit ‘1’ to fix it. I didn’t bother with it and hung up right away, since it sounded like a total scam. After that, I blocked the number and switched on call blocking to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Somebody called saying they were from TalkTalk and that my internet had been hacked. They threatened to cut off my service if I didn’t follow their instructions!
