I got a call earlier claiming to be from BT, informing me that there had been some hacking attempts on my broadband service. The caller, who had a noticeable Indian accent, insisted that I input a code into my computer or tablet. I decided to hang up rather than engage further. Something felt fishy about the whole thing!
