I recently received a call from a lady with quite a strong Indian accent, and I found it rather tricky to grasp what she was saying. She mentioned something about a company, but as soon as I asked her to clarify the name, she abruptly ended the call. When I attempted to ring the number again, it displayed as Ashbourne, located in Derbyshire, but I couldn't get through. I'm planning to send a message to 7726 to report this, as they're known for looking into scam calls.

Had a rather peculiar phone call from someone I don’t recognise.

I received a call from what seemed to be a dodgy call centre purporting to operate as a phone retailer. I managed to get to the second stage of their spiel, where they asked for a £40 payment. The conversation dragged on for nearly ten minutes until they came to the shocking realisation that the postcode PI55 0FF is, in fact, a made-up one! Quite the amateur effort, if you ask me!
