Scammers ought to just take a hike!

Received a call purportedly concerning a car crash that I wasn't responsible for. The individual didn't take a moment to actually listen and kept interrupting me. Their poor use of English made me suspect it was a scam.

I've received a multitude of calls from this number, at times as many as four or five in a single hour. When I pick up, there's nothing but silence, and if I try to call back, I’m met with a pre-recorded message saying: “You’ve been reached by XXXX. No need to fret, we’ll be in touch again.” The wording might not be entirely accurate, and the name they mention, XXXX, isn’t very distinct, despite my replaying the message a few times. - Unknown caller, any ideas on who this might be?
