Just had a text like that too, claiming to be from Barclays. They wanted me to use some code for ASDA or else call a certain number. The grammar was terrible and the whole message was random, didn’t really add up even if I was planning to order something online. Pretty clear scam if you ask me.

Got a message saying it was from Barclays with some code for buying something from Argos. It told me to ring 01335691525 straight away if I wasn’t the one who did it. The funny thing is, I've never even dealt with Barclays or shopped at Argos before.
