They gave me a ring but I didn’t pick up.

I got a call from a lady who had an Indian accent saying she was from BT's tech support. Seemed dodgy straight away. When I told her off for trying to scam people, she just hung up on me. She phoned back but as soon as I picked up the line went dead. Definitely a scammer.

My phone just buzzed but when I picked up there was nothing on the other end. Looks like it's one of those scanner calls again.

I got a call from someone who spoke really proper English but had a foreign accent. She said she was ringing from British Telecommunications about an issue with my internet and that it might get cut off. She asked if I was near my computer, and that’s when I just hung up. Problem is, BT isn’t my internet supplier anyway.

Yesterday I got a call from a blocked number, and it was someone saying they were from BT and needed to discuss my internet. Then today, as soon as I picked up the phone, the call was ended straight away. Seems like both calls could be from the same place.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from BT tech support, said there were issues with my internet and it might get cut off today. She asked if that was okay. When I played along and said sure, then called her out on it being suspicious, she just ended the call! Proper dodgy.

Got a call from some scammer, total waste of time.

I answered the call but there was a weird pause, which I'm pretty sure is normal for overseas call centres pretending to be local by using local numbers. I just hung up and then used BT Call Protect to block it straight away. Definitely one of those scams. Need to let BT know it's not right that these foreign call centres get to use local numbers like this.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was Peter from BT, had a posh foreign accent and all. Told me there was heaps wrong with my computer but I don’t even have BT as my provider. The number they called from was 01335 635280. Quite fishy if you ask me!

Got a call that claimed to be from BT, saying they'd cut off my internet soon. The number showed as being from Ashbourne in the UK, but it was clearly an overseas call and definitely not genuine. Pretty obvious scam attempt!
