Got a call from a Braintree area code about Covid stuff. Spoke to the guy for a bit, then ended the call. Literally a couple of seconds later, same bloke rings me back from a different number trying to push insurance. Didn’t give any info, just asked how he got from Braintree to Ashbourne so quick. Told him it was a load of rubbish and slammed the phone down.

The person on the line, whose English was a bit difficult to understand and had an accent, was probing for details about my vaccination status and my satisfaction with my local medical practice! Somebody called saying they were ‘Jane from the NHS’ wanting to check if I'd had my two Covid vaccinations. Yesterday, on the 27th of September 2021, I received a rather dodgy phone call from this number. The individual on the other end seemed to have an unsettling amount of personal information, including my full name and postcode, along with the detail that I've had both doses of the vaccine - though I suspect that might've just been a lucky guess. They presented themselves as representatives from a Covid vaccination management company, supposedly involved with the booster jab initiative. However, it quickly became clear that their true intention was to peddle medical and life insurance. I informed them that I was already insured and promptly ended the call. Just a heads-up, this is definitely a scam!

Received a call from someone claiming to represent the NHS Covid division, claiming they needed my input for a brief survey. The questions were as follows:
1. Have you received the vaccine?
2. Are you fully vaccinated?
3. Experienced any side effects from the jab?
4. Do you possess health or life insurance?
5. Which company is your insurance through?

I decided to humour him with the first four queries just to tie him up a bit and inhibit him from moving on to someone else.

However, when he pushed for the fifth question, I firmly informed him that such information was personal and not something I'd share. He attempted to convince me it was all above board, assuring me that there was nothing sketchy about it and even offered to disclose his own insurer if that helped. I stood my ground and declined, leading him to abruptly end the conversation.

I didn’t pick up because the number was unfamiliar and I don’t know anyone in Ashbourne. After seeing what others said, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Said they were NHS about a vaccine. The line was really bad, like it was coming from another country. Definitely a scam.

I received a rather suspicious call on my mobile from the number 01335368428. The individual on the line claimed to be with NHS Track and Trace and asked if I required a hard copy of some results. When he requested my postal address, I declined to provide that information. He then went on to inquire whether I had suitable insurance coverage, to which I chose not to respond and promptly hung up. It all felt rather dodgy, to be honest!

Got a call from Mutual Life Insurance about a missed payment, said they needed my bank info. Felt a bit off, seemed like one of those life insurance cons trying to steal money. Watch out for this scam!

This number has rang me like 6 times today. I didn’t pick up coz I don’t usually answer calls from unknown numbers. I’m glad I didn’t after seeing all these comments. Number’s blocked now. Proper fed up with these scam calls. Don’t they have anything better to do than keep pestering us?

Answered the phone and some bloke with a bad accent got my name a bit wrong, said he was from the NHS tracking and told me to ring him back then just ended the call! Obviously not ringing back, blocked him straight away. Watch out, this smells like a scam.

Said they were with the NHS, but definitely weren’t. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

They called saying they were doing a survey for the NHS and wanted to check if I’d had the vaccine. I told them, if they really were the NHS, they’d already have that info. Still, they kept asking and I wouldn’t say. Then I just asked straight if they were really from the NHS and they just ended the call.

Got a call from some Indian bloke asking if I’ve had my covid jabs. Told him he’d called me a few weeks back already, so he said sorry and ended the call. Proper annoying, that one.
