I used to get loads of calls from numbers like this, even though I was on the TPS register and had TalkTalk's security active. Somehow, they always managed to get through. Eventually, I decided to get a BT phone with a call blocker feature. Since then, I haven't had a single unwanted call. It only lets calls through from numbers saved in my phone, everything else gets blocked. The callers get a message saying they're not allowed to ring me and to please hang up. It's been so much more peaceful now, no more annoying rings constantly disturbing me.
