Got a call from someone claiming to be my internet company, saying there’s been some illegal stuff happening on my router and they’re gonna cut off my internet in 24 hours. The weird thing is, the answering machine message sounded exactly like one I got from a scam number earlier that day. They hung up right away the first time, then after a pause, I got this fake message about how they tried calling me before. Totally sketchy!
