They insisted that I log onto my computer to troubleshoot my broadband speeds - a request I firmly declined. After reiterating that I had no intention of fiddling with my PC based on a mere phone call, I promptly ended the conversation. However, they rang me yet again, inquiring why I had hung up. I reiterated my stance, stating I wasn’t going to engage with my computer without proper verification, and hung up once more. To my annoyance, they attempted a third call, which I wisely chose to ignore. I used 1471 to check the number; when I tried to ring it back, I was greeted with a message saying the number wasn't recognised.
