My dad got a call while I was out, and the person on the line said they were from the action fraud office. They told him that someone had attempted to move money from his bank account. Luckily, he didn’t give out any details. After chatting for a while, they said I should call them back once I was home. During the call, they switched him over to another person who gave the number 020 32864074. Something felt off, so I called the genuine action fraud contact and they told me it was definitely a scam.
