I’ve been inundated with calls from what seems to be a fraudulent NHS outfit trying to extract personal details. It’s quite the nuisance! I’ve decided to block them immediately, but it’s astonishing how many different numbers they’re using-I'm receiving at least four of these dodgy calls daily. One of the numbers is 01334845268. I had a similar experience recently - I was trying to ascertain whether my medical insurance was in order when I received a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS. The questions soon veered off into all sorts of financial matters. The chap on the other end had an Indian accent and kept referring to me as "Mr" followed by my first name, which raised quite a few red flags. In the end, I decided to hang up as it became glaringly obvious he was being disingenuous. I attempted to ring back on FaceTime for a proper recording to share with my mates on Facebook as a warning, but oddly enough, it didn't connect. Not surprising, is it? I suppose that's how these scams tend to operate!

I got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS doing a survey about coronavirus. They used an old name and gave an address for me that’s not even current, but I didn’t point that out. They wanted to know if I’d caught covid, had any vaccines, and if I’d experienced any effects. I didn’t share much with them. I repeatedly stated that if I couldn’t recall the company’s name a minute ago, I certainly wouldn't remember it now. Yet, it was as if she didn’t quite grasp my point. Ultimately, she conceded after her relentless questioning, wished me well and hung up. What a peculiar encounter!
