I received a missed call from 01334763221 (St Andrews) and I've chosen not to return it, as I suspect it's just spam or a sales pitch. Last week, I also had a couple of missed calls from a similar number, 01334763148 (St Andrews), and opted not to get in touch for the same reason. Though the area code fits, I'm convinced these numbers aren't genuinely from St Andrews since their formats don't match the typical pattern; they shouldn’t kick off with a 7. I've seen a few remarks on this platform regarding the latter number, indicating it's also linked to PPI and cold calling.

I received a call from a number originating in St. Andrews at exactly 16:10, claiming that someone with my phone number had been involved in an accident. I suspected it was a scam call, so I promptly informed them and terminated the conversation. Just a minute later, I was annoyed to see a call from 01722675624 in Salisbury, which rang briefly before dropping. Almost immediately, I was contacted again by 01659631783 from Sanquhar, but that call also ended abruptly. It seems like they weren’t too pleased when I labelled their call as a nuisance and resorted to various numbers to try and bother me further!
